The FarmPlex at Eden Native Garden

Growing Food & Knowledge Locally

The FarmPlex will be a living laboratory for the future of food in Northern Utah, combining year-round aquaponic farming, water conservation, and providing young people with research and education opportunities.

Researching New Tools for Agriculture

The FarmPlex recycles water and nutrients to grow fresh vegetables and fish, using less water while creating a living laboratory for farmers, researchers, educators, students, and the community. The goal is not to change how farmers farm, but to expand the agricultural toolbox by giving farmers and researchers a place to test new ideas and technologies that complement existing practices, conserve water, improve soil health, and strengthen local food security.
